To ensure success as a QA analyst, you should also have necessary coding skills to generate automation tests, a keen eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. A skilled QA analyst must be able to design and write efficient test procedures and ensure quality for applications on Ignition platform.
Here's how:
- Meeting with the Product Owners, Business analysts and development team to discuss application requirements and implementation details.
- Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
- Sketching out ideas for software test procedures.
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications, creating test cases.
- Designing and installing software and databases.
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
- Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

What you bring to this role
- Previous experience working in quality assurance testing
- An analytical mindset, and the ability to break down basic knowledge
- Experience with SQL essential , ideally on Android IOS & Windows. UI Testing, API testing good to have.
- Automation and manual testing experience
- Coding skills for automating test procedures and querying databases.
- Familiarity with programming script languages including C#.
- Experience in working with Agile development methodology and JIRA
- Strong attention to detail, with good written and verbal communication skills.
